Your Privacy Choices: Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

FinanceToad respects your right to control how your personal information is used. This page explains how to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information and how we honor your privacy choices.

What "Sale" and "Sharing" Mean

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, and similar laws in other US states:

• A "sale" is the disclosure of personal information to a third party in exchange for money or other valuable consideration.
• "Sharing" is the disclosure of personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising (targeting ads to you across different sites and services).

Because FinanceToad is a lead-generation and advertising-supported service, we sell and share personal information. Specifically, when you submit a form, we may sell or transfer your contact and financing details to lenders, financing companies, lead-buyer networks, and marketing partners, and we may share online identifiers with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. Who Can Submit an Opt-Out

You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information if you are a resident of California or another US state that provides an opt-out right (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and others). You do not need an account to submit a request.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out using any of the following methods:

• Opt-out request. Email privacy@financetoad.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share" with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." Please include the name, email, phone number, and ZIP code you provided so we can locate your information.
• Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing for users in states that recognize it. When we detect a GPC signal, we apply the opt-out to that browser and, where feasible, to associated identifiers. Note that a GPC signal is tied to a specific browser and device, so you should enable it on each browser and device you use.
• Cookie controls. Use the cookie preferences available on the Site and your browser settings to limit certain advertising cookies and trackers.

Authorized Agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may verify your identity directly.

What Happens After You Opt Out

Once we process your opt-out, we will stop selling and sharing your personal information as described, except as permitted by law. Please note:

• We will still process information needed to fulfill a request you submitted. If you complete a form to be matched with a Partner, we will share the information necessary to provide that service you requested — opting out does not undo a match you actively requested.
• An opt-out does not require us to delete your information; to request deletion, see the rights described in our Privacy Policy.
• Partners that already received your information operate under their own privacy policies; you may need to contact them directly to exercise rights with them.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. You will not be denied services, charged different prices, or provided a different level of quality solely because you opted out.
